Have you ever wanted to invest in property?
If you are anything like me then the idea of having a couple of properties to rent out and make a little bit of passive income seems to be the dream that is just slightly out of grasp.
The problem is you usually need a large amount of cash available to put down as a deposit. I think the going rate for a deposit on a buy to let mortgage is at least 20%.
What happens if you haven’t got that cash available?
One company has come up with a solution. Proptee is the latest fintech to bring an innovative investment product. From their website they are aiming to offer property investment from as little as £1. You can buy and sell shares in the properties and earn a dividend similar to how you would receive an income from a rental property. All of this with no commission on trades.
I have also had the pleasure of speaking to the creators of Proptee and can say they are a fantastic team who will take on any feedback. I’m not sure on timescales of the launch but from their Trello roadmap they are working hard to get the best app they can.
An EUR wallet and crypto payments also seem to be on the cards.
